Kasbahs, Imperial cities and Oasis

Breakfast & visit of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. The visit includes the outside of the Hassan II Mosque, the residential area of Anfa, the Habbouss quarter, the outside of the royal palace and the Mohamed V square. Continuation to Rabat for visiting the outside of the royal palace ( Mechouar ), the Oudaya kasbah, the Mohamed V mausoleum and the Hassan tower. The trip heads to Meknes the Ismailian capital famous for its 40 kms long walls, for visiting Bab Mansour, the royal stables and the Jewish quarter. And we continue our trip until Fes. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Fes.

Breakfast and continuation to Merzouga via Ifrane , Azrou, Midelt and Erfoud. During this day, we will remark that the landscape changes step by steps from the mountains to the Saharan atmosphere. When arriving to Merzouga, the camels will take us across the dunes to the camp where the most magic sunset is waiting for us to admiring it as longer as possible. Dinner and accommodation at the camp.

Early morning we will admire the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we ride again the camels for moving to an other oasis where we can have our lunch, with a Berber family. Then we continue our trip to the camp where we will spend the night. Dinner and accommodation at the camp in the dunes of Merzouga.

Breakfast and returning back to Merzouga. Then our tour heads to Tinghir via Erfoud, for exploring the canyons of Todghra with the towering rocks reaching an altitude of 300 meters. And the trip continues to Ouarzazate, along the Dades river, lined with palm trees and Berber villages famous for their rose production. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Ouarzazate.

Breakfast and continuation to Marrakech via the Tizin Tichka pass which reach an altitude of 2260 meters. Visit of the Kasbah of Ait Benhadou, the best preserved Kasbah of Morocco and actually under UNECO protection. The Kasbah has served as decor for many films like for example: Laurence of Arabia. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Marrakech.

Breakfast and whole the day is devoted to the visit of the historical Marrakech with its Menara garden, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia palace and the Koutoubia. Afternoon, visit of the famous Djemaa el Fna square with its surrounding souks and handcraft quarters. Diner and accommodation at the hotel in Marrakech.
